SIGHT: "This meant wonderful chestnut-brown hair with threads of gold, a brow seemingly made of marble, cheeks seemingly made of rose petal, a pale bloom, a flushed whiteness, exquisite lips on which the smile was a kind of radiance and the words spoken were a kind of music, a head such as Raphael would have given the Virgin Mary, set on a neck that Jean Goujon would have given to Venus. And so that there should be no defect in this bewitching face, her nose was not handsome, it was pretty. Neither straight nor curved, neither Italian nor Greek, it was the Parisian nose — that is to say, something spirited, delicate, irregular and pure, the despair of painters and the delight of poets."
» HAIR COLOR: chestnut red with hints of gold in the right light
» EYE COLOR: blue
» HEIGHT: 5'5"
» BUILD: slender, not at all fit
» DOMINANT HAND: right
» TATTOOS: none
» PIERCINGS: none

» DISTINGUISHING MARKS: A small birthmark on the lower right side of her neck.

» DEFINING CHARACTERISTICS: Carries herself like a proper little lady when she's walking, unless she's running wild. Once she acclimates, she'll be impeccably on trend.

» STYLE: Initially, Cosette's sense of style will be somewhat old-fashioned. For her first few weeks in Darrow, she'll be more inclined to wear long dresses and skirts, nothing too form-fitting, no pants, no makeup, etc. Given time, however, to study modern fashion and accommodate herself to the changes, this will change drastically. To be updated.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS AND MANNERISMS: Demure, withdrawn, polite, Cosette is sweet and innocent at first glance, all softness and wide eyes and a willingness to please. This is how she was taught to behave, both in the convent and through years of abuse. It's not entirely accurate to who she is, which is much more spirited, given the chance.

SOUND: Soft, sweet voice, "girlish," with a distinctly French accent. She could learn to pronounce things for "American," but she's stubborn.

SMELL: Generic soap and shampoo, whatever they use at the children's home, for now. Dirt, from the garden, though it's too cold to do much out there just now.

TOUCH: Cosette keeps her hands to herself and hopes you'll do the same. Unless you're cute, then she might reconsider.

internal
▶ POSITIVE TRAITS: Sweet, kind, generous, compassionate, considerate, charitable, respectful, hopeful, passionate, clever, inquisitive, practical, focused, cheerful, brave, optimistic, loyal, confident.

▶ NEGATIVE TRAITS: Stubborn, naïve, falls in love too easily, could easily be led to ruin by a roué.

▶ LIKES: Nature from the bugs to the stars, long walks in the park, eye-flirting, getting into play fights just to make up again, playing the piano and singing along, sassing her dad, corralling others into proper care of themselves, keeping house, excuses to go outside, being in charge, fashion.

▶ DISLIKES: Loud noises, serious conflict of any kind, prowlers, poverty and inequality, others not taking care of themselves, doing laundry.

▶ GOALS: To see everything, to do everything.

▶ MENTAL HEALTH: About as good as one might expect. She still deals with the lingering effects of years of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of the Thénardiers, which manifests largely in how she deals with others, her eagerness to please, and her tendency to flinch at raised voices and raised hands. She has, however, suppressed most of her memories of this period of her life.

▶ PHYSICAL HEALTH: Good. She eats well, exercises regularly, gets plenty of fresh air and sunlight, likes to run around when she can.

▶ MAGICAL ABILITIES: None.

INFORMATION FOR PSYCHICS AND OTHER MAGIC USERS:
» Has not fully processed or worked through years of trauma, instead repressing memories as thoroughly as possible.

» Clever, but rather naïve.

» Still thinks in French most of the time.
